Bill Gates

Ladies and gentlemen,
This morning, when I woke up, I realised I had lost 10 million dollars overnight. Then, while shaving, I lost another million. I got dressed, and by the time I was pulling on my socks, I had lost another 2 million.
So, how does one respond to this kind of problem, you might ask. Well, for a start, I decided to sack one of the gardeners.
You see. Flexibility, ladies and gentlemen, is the solution.
But the problem is more fundamental, of course. Because, what if we're not talking peanuts ? What if more fundamental matters are at stake ? How does the human mind cope with this ?
Well, I am not as narrow minded as people usually think. People think I am obsessed with my job. But I am no “Vakidioet”. I do have other interests. Even more than I have bank accounts.
People think I don’t think about anything else but computers. This is a system error.
I do have a social life. I watch Big Brother daily.
People think I don’t have friends. This is an error. I have many friends. There is my shrink, the people I work with, people I raise money for.
People think I always work. This is an error. When I’m home, I do my fair share of housekeeping jobs. I wash the windows, I empty the trash, I clean up my desktop… I give cookies to the dog.
I have a happy marriage. I still am using the 1.0 version. I am quite proud of it.
And I am proud of my children, although one of them came home with a virus last night.
So my main message is: life is about happiness. And you are all looking for our way to happiness. Now I can tell you, I know where that way is. And I'm willing to show you where the Gate's… if you pay the Bill !
